Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to identify and model the dimensions and components of an executive framework for digital transformation in the education system.

Methodology: This qualitative study employed a schematic analysis approach. The participants consisted of experts in education and digital transformation selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews and analyzed using open, axial, and selective coding. Content validity was assessed using CVR and CVI indices, and reliability was examined through inter-coder agreement measures, including Cohen’s Kappa and Scott’s Pi.

Findings: The findings indicated that the executive model of digital transformation comprises seven core dimensions: technological infrastructure development, human resource empowerment, transformation in curriculum and content, data governance and intelligent decision-making, digital educational equity, leadership and policy-making, and inter-sectoral collaboration. These dimensions interact systematically within an integrated framework, significantly contributing to the effective implementation of digital transformation.

Conclusion: The results suggest that successful digital transformation in education requires a comprehensive, multidimensional, and coordinated approach that simultaneously addresses technological, human, managerial, and equity-related aspects.
