The statistical population consisted of ninth-grade students attending schools in Baghdad, Iraq. Sixty students were selected through convenience sampling and randomly assigned to the experimental and control groups, with 30 students in each group. The experimental group received an eight-session educational program, with one 60-minute session per week, focusing on power and freedom concepts in Arabic language and literature through brainstorming, group discussion, case studies, role-playing, and simulation. The control group continued to receive conventional instruction. Data were collected using a 25-item National Identity Questionnaire and the 34-item California Critical Thinking Skills Test. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26 and analysis of covariance at a significance level of 0.05.</p> <p><strong>Findings: </strong>After controlling for pretest scores, analysis of covariance showed a significant effect of group membership on national identity (F(1,57) = 86.02, p &lt; 0.001, η² = 0.601). A significant group effect was also found for critical thinking (F(1,57) = 59.11, p &lt; 0.001, η² = 0.509). Accordingly, the intervention produced significant improvements in both national identity and critical thinking compared with the control condition.</p> <p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The educational program based on power and freedom components and delivered through brainstorming can be used as an effective participatory approach in Arabic language and literature instruction to strengthen students’ national identity and critical thinking simultaneously.</p> <p><strong>هدف: </strong>هدف پژوهش حاضر تعیین اثربخشی برنامه آموزشی مبتنی بر مؤلفه‌های قدرت و آزادی در زبان و ادبیات عربی با راهبرد تدریس بارش مغزی بر تقویت هویت ملی و تفکر انتقادی دانش‌آموزان پایه نهم شهر بغداد بود.</p> <p><strong>روش‌شناسی: </strong>پژوهش حاضر از نوع شبه‌آزمایشی با طرح پیش‌آزمون ـ پس‌آزمون و گروه کنترل بود. جامعه آماری شامل دانش‌آموزان پایه نهم مدارس شهر بغداد، عراق بود که از میان آنان 60 دانش‌آموز با روش نمونه‌گیری در دسترس انتخاب و به‌طور تصادفی در دو گروه آزمایش و کنترل، هر یک 30 نفر، جای‌گذاری شدند. گروه آزمایش طی 8 جلسه 60 دقیقه‌ای، هفته‌ای یک جلسه، برنامه آموزشی مبتنی بر مفاهیم قدرت و آزادی را در بستر زبان و ادبیات عربی و با استفاده از بارش مغزی، بحث گروهی، مطالعه موردی، نقش‌آفرینی و شبیه‌سازی دریافت کرد، در حالی که گروه کنترل آموزش معمول را ادامه داد. ابزارها شامل پرسشنامه 25 گویه‌ای هویت ملی و آزمون 34 گویه‌ای مهارت‌های تفکر انتقادی کالیفرنیا بود. داده‌ها با استفاده از SPSS نسخه 26 و تحلیل کوواریانس در سطح معناداری 0.05 تحلیل شدند.</p> <p><strong>یافته‌ها: </strong>پس از کنترل اثر نمرات پیش‌آزمون، تحلیل کوواریانس نشان داد اثر گروه بر هویت ملی معنادار بود (F(1,57) = 86.02، p &lt; 0.001، η² = 0.601). همچنین، اثر گروه بر تفکر انتقادی نیز معنادار به دست آمد (F(1,57) = 59.11، p &lt; 0.001، η² = 0.509). بنابراین، برنامه آموزشی موجب افزایش معنادار هویت ملی و تفکر انتقادی دانش‌آموزان گروه آزمایش در مقایسه با گروه کنترل شد.</p> <p><strong>نتیجه‌گیری: </strong>برنامه آموزشی مبتنی بر مؤلفه‌های قدرت و آزادی با راهبرد بارش مغزی می‌تواند به‌عنوان رویکردی مشارکتی و مؤثر در آموزش زبان و ادبیات عربی برای تقویت هم‌زمان هویت ملی و تفکر انتقادی دانش‌آموزان مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.</p> https://www.jedusocio.com/index.php/se/article/download/842/745
